Dear Vegan Traveller, just like yesterday, I wasn’t in the mood for something sweet, so I looked for a place I could get to quickly. It had rained, which only added to the atmosphere as I walked there. Outside and inside alike, the decoration and the vibe are really top-notch, and I love that vintage logo. For lovers of music and vintage vinyl, the walls are covered in records! For once, I decided to take off my headphones and let the atmosphere wash over me. The artworks in the restroom are superb too. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I had the Keema Curry 🍛, marked vegan and gluten-free by the restaurant. Very good, but the portion felt a little small for my appetite today. I still wasn’t in the mood for cake or cookies, even though they look delicious in that gorgeous display case! After leaving, I decided to walk to Sugamo Jizo-dori, the shotengai just nearby, and I gave in to… a handmade mochi. That after-rain atmosphere was the perfect way to end the meal!

Cher voyageur vegan à Tokyo, comme hier, je ne me sens pas d’humeur sucrée. J’ai cherché un restaurant où je pouvais aller rapidement… Il a plu, ce qui ajoute à l’atmosphère pendant que je marche pour y aller. Que ce soit la devanture ou l’intérieur, la décoration et l’ambiance sont vraiment au top. J’adore ce logo vintage. Pour les amateurs de musique et de vinyles vintage, les murs sont tapissés de vinyles ! Pour une fois, je décide de retirer mon casque pour me laisser envahir par l’ambiance. Les artworks dans les toilettes sont superbes aussi. Le personnel est sympathique et accueillant. J’ai pris un Keema curry 🍛, indiqué vegan et sans gluten par le restaurant. Très bon, mais la portion m’a paru un peu petite pour mon appétit d’aujourd’hui. Je ne me sens toujours pas d’humeur gâteau ou biscuit, qui ont pourtant l’air délicieux dans cette superbe vitrine ! En quittant le restaurant, je décide d’aller marcher non loin de là, à la shotengai Sugamo Jizo-dori, et je me laisse tenter par… un mochi artisanal. Une ambiance d’après-pluie parfaite pour finir ce repas !
